Charles R. Middleton Endowed Scholarship

The Charles R. Middleton Endowed Scholarship was established by William Paterson University President Dr. Richard Helldobler and Mr. Robert E. Brown III in honor of Dr. Charles Middleton, president emeritus of Roosevelt University and mentor to Dr. Helldobler, for a full-time undergraduate or graduate student who has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0, with preference given to a student who demonstrates financial need (not necessarily as defined by the federal government) and/or is involved in LGBTQIA+ University activities and/or is enrolled in the Higher Education Leadership program.
