Marie Louise McCarthy Endowed Scholarship

The Marie Louise McCarthy Endowed Scholarship was established by Joan Hall in memory of her sister Marie Louise McCarthy ’44 for up to two full-time, undergraduate students who maintain an minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0; remain on track to graduate in four years (i.e., complete a minimum of 30 credits per academic year); and demonstrate financial need (not necessarily as defined by the federal government), with preference given to students who graduated from Garfield High School, where Mrs. McCarthy taught for forty years.
