Warren Helms Spirit of Music Performance Endowed Scholarship

The Warren Helms Spirit of Music Performance Endowed Scholarship was established by the family and friends of Warren Helms in his memory for a full-time undergraduate student who is of sophomore, junior, or senior status, has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75, and is majoring in music, with preference given to singers or pianists who have demonstrated involvement in and time commitment to the following: choirs, Chamber Singers, Opera Workshop and productions, Musical Theatre Workshop and productions, Pop Music Vocal Ensemble, Jazz Vocal Ensemble, and/or Classical Chamber Ensemble; financial need (not necessarily as defined by the federal government) may be a consideration.

The recipient of this scholarship is selected by the Department of Music.
