Caring Cetera Diversity in Financial Planning Annual Scholarship
The Caring Cetera Diversity in Financial Planning Annual Scholarship is funded by Caring Cetera for a full-time undergraduate student of junior status who is majoring in financial planning, has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0, and demonstrates financial need (not necessarily as defined by the federal government), with preference given to students who participate in William Paterson’s Financial Planning Club or who participate in other related extracurricular activities (i.e., Accounting Society; Student Investment Club; Student Government Association), and/or are members or involved in activities of financial planning professional organizations (i.e., The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors – NAPFA; Financial Planning Association – FPA; Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards – CFP), and/or have a financial planning-related internship or professional work experience, and are minority, female, and/or LGBTQ, and with strong preference given to students who demonstrate a leadership role in extracurricular activities; this scholarship may be renewed for the student’s senior year.
